M10 Stainless Steel Tow Post Our M10 Tow Post Kits were designed and made with longevity in mind. Upgraded in almost all aspects over the original. The standard tow posts were made from 1mm thick mild steel tube. The original tow hook was made from a zinc plated bolt with a metal ring welded on the end. It was made to suit an M8 thread. We decided to make our tow posts totally from stainless steel, we have upgraded to a 2mm wall tube, wider dimension of 30mm and we have incorporated an M10 thread opposed to the M8. We use high strength (5000kg load) stainless steel rings. These tow posts have been made to MSA Specifications so they will pass any MSA scruitineering making these perfect for track cars and race cars! These come with all new replacement stainles steel washers & bolts. To paint these we use a high quality etch primer with a top coat of hard wearing Plastikote (not to be confused with Plastidip) these can chip easily if dropped or banged. If you prefer we can powder coat these at additional cost. Please get in touch for options. These are made to order and usualy take a couple of days. *Some crash structures don’t have bolt holes so will need to be drilled to suit.
